Time Continuum, a poem

Newton could not see...

what all the Universe, past and future, may ever be.

For him, the flow of time...stood stoic and stagnant.

Yet, in reality, Time is a Magnet.

Time is neither past nor present.

Continuous, infinite and perfectly tied.

It tries to pass us by.

Like the runner in the race...

It stretches across space, in search of its starting place.

Time is neither past nor present.

A frame echoing through space,

making haste to a familiar place.

Time sees the small clock on the wall...

Mocking and laughing at its audacity to call seconds, minutes, hours and days.

Time is neither past nor present.

Some may call it a mystery.

Many call it history.

I call it my own.

Time is neither past nor present.

WOW...a gifted poet too!!! Harry, thank you for sharing your beautiful mind and perspective through your amazing voice. This poem profoundly communicates feelings and ideas...WOW. Reading this at this specific moment today reminds me of the wrestling we often have with time; it is our struggle. Time is our own brings the ease and surrender.
